Peak 10 to Host April 9th Seminar

April 08, 2008

Peak 10, the leading independent data center operator and managed services provider, will host an informative seminar on Managed Intrusion Detection and Prevention on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pasta Luna Restaurant in Richmond, Va. The seminar, which is being co-sponsored by ProtectPoint Security, will provide business leaders with insight into why intrusion detection services have become a requirement to effectively protect organizations from internal and external network threats.

Industry experts Mark Wensell, Ph.D., vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Richmond, and Jim Coffman, national sales engineer for ProtectPoint Security Systems, will be presenting. Both will address threat identification and explore how intrusion detection services analyze network traffic beyond the firewall. They will also discuss real-time analysis and response, focusing on the applications and techniques used to detect and prevent malicious activities.

For additional seminar information and to register, please contact Rob Fichter at (804) 612-2648 or at rob.fichter@peak10.com.
