The Committee meeting entitled The State of the Small Business Economy and Identifying Policies to Promote an Economic Recovery that was scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th at 12 pm has been postponed. The meeting will now occur on Wednesday, January 14th at 10 am in Rayburn 2360.

At the hearing, NECA will speak on the need for investment in energy-efficient buildings; renewable energy technologies, including solar and wind; and broadband expansion. NECA will also address the need for investment in the national electrical grid and for the banking system to loosen credit on construction loans. NECA is the voice of the $130 billion electrical construction industry that brings power, light, and communication technology to buildings and communities across the U.S.
