City Center Project Manager

The City of Falls Church is recruiting for a professional Civil Engineer to represent the City’s interest with respect to the City Center Project. A qualified candidate will bring to the position significant experience managing large-scale, multi-phase commercial development projects. The individual selected for this position will report to the City Manager and coordinate with all City departments to facilitate this project’s success.

Responsibilities: A successful candidate will work on a daily basis on the City Center project. This position will:

1. Stormwater infrastructure design

2. Roadway design

3. Streetscape design

4. Transportation Management Plan

5. Geotechnical Analysis

6. Utility Design

7. Erosion & Sediment Control Plans

8. Stormwater Quality Designs (i.e., Chesapeake Bay, NPDES)

Qualifications:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Salary & Benefits: $80,000 – $100,000, depending on qualifications. The Civil Engineer I performs professional engineering, technical, and administrative work related to the planning, design and inspection of land development and public improvements; assures compliance with the County ordinances. Project Manager

This position is directly responsible for all contract execution activities. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all company resources to deliver a high quality of customer service and to ensure profitable achievement of forecasted objectives.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. has multiple entry level and mid level positions available in our Virginia Beach, VA office.
Candidate must be capable of managing and designing the layout of new and upgraded outside electrical and communications installations.
